Notes for People Wishing to Make a Nomination1. To see a complete description of any award, with specifications of what should be included in the nomination package, the deadline, and the mailing address of the person to whom the package should be submitted, go to the AIChE Catalog of Division Awards at www.aiche.org/awards/divlist.htm, find the Particle Technology Forum section, and click the name of the award.2. Nomination forms and instructions may be downloaded (as a PDF file) from a link on the AIChE Awards page at www.aiche.org/awards/ 3. Nominations are not carried over from one year to the next, so if your nominee was not selected and you wish to have that person considered again, you must submit an updated nomination package for the next year. |

Poster Session AwardsIn 2001 three new awards were instituted to acknowledge the technical excellence and presentation skills of students (graduate or undergraduate) who author or co-author posters in the PTF poster session at the AIChE annual meeting in November. Special emphasis is placed on the extent to which the poster helps teach technology. These posters are judged by a panel of judges from the industry and academia.Sponsor: The Particle Technology Forum Awards: A certificate and a dinner ticket for each place plus $300 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place. Since the poster sessions are held at the annual meeting we cannot notify winners in time to have them attend the PTF Awards dinner, so the poster session awards are mailed to the winners after the meeting. The PTF will reimburse one awardee from each place (first, second, third) for one dinner at the PTF awards banquet, either in the presentation year or in the following year. The awardee must submit a request to the PTF treasurer to be reimbursed for the cost of the dinner ticket. POSTER AWARDEES for 2006 were:
