Charter: to develop technical sessions for AIChE meetings and to facilitate
the production of summaries of the sessions such as special editions of journals, books, or CDs.
Over time the sessions should cover all areas of PT, provide for fruitful collaboration
with other AIChE divisions through co-sponsorship and with non-AIChE groups
through endorsement and co-sponsorship, and develop PTF members both as presenters and as leaders.

Group Chairs and Vice Chairs are responsible for chairing the planning sessions
and for securing, motivating, training, mentoring, and providing recognition
for the technical session leaders.
Technical Session Leaders (chairs, co-chairs, and vice-chairs) help with planning,
then describe their sessions and recruit, mentor, and manage the speakers for their sessions.
